Selection of relevant languages

Participant Management
In the context of employee feedback, the contact details of the employees are usually provided by the client. We will coordinate the required individual data with you precisely and, if necessary, work together with the HR people in the countries. The data is delivered securely via our SSL platform and processed securely within the framework of a pseudonymised mailing procedure. Participants are contacted in the chosen language and are then directly directed to the respective survey version in the national language. Alternatively, they can choose their preferred language on a selection page at the start of the interview.

Differentiated reporting
The application of the results determines the benefit of each survey. You can either use our premium dashboard with filter function for this purpose. Or you will receive tailored individual reports for each country or location for you to pass on. As a rule, the results reports are delivered internationally via our download platform - in various languages if desired.

How many languages are really necessary?
This depends on your organizational structure: Assign each designated participant a preferred language. A separate language version should then be planned for each language group that reaches a certain percentage of the total sample (e.g. 5%). The overall aim is to achieve the highest possible proportion of "mother tongue" with the available resources. Please also bear in mind that there may be a substantial proportion of employees with a particular migrant background whose mother tongue is not necessarily the national language. Such a special situation can arise if it is to be feared that such a group of people - albeit a small one - would be systematically excluded from the survey (e.g. a group of employees in a US branch that prefers to speak Spanish). This should be avoided if possible.

How does Rogator deal with international hybrid surveys?
As long as all participating persons can be invited to the survey by e-mail, their location - apart from the language spoken there - is of secondary importance. If a part of the workforce can only be reached with a paper invitation or a paper questionnaire, you can count on our long-standing print and logistics partners, who produce the required documents cost-effectively and deliver them promptly and precisely to every single location worldwide. Rogator also offers you the option of creating the survey documents in electronic form (serial letters) so that they can be printed and delivered on site. Numerous Rogator customers prefer this method for reasons of time and cost.

How can international participation rates be estimated?
There is no standard answer to this question. However, Rogator has experience of participation rates in many different countries. In our experience, especially in the case of organisations of European origin, participation also depends on whether a more European management style prevails in the national companies concerned, or whether management in accordance with the tradition of the respective country is predominant.

Which survey components can be reused?
The services provided by Rogator within the scope of your survey project become the property of the Client. This significantly reduces the costs of many repeat projects, since the translations and survey programming in particular can of course be reused free of charge. Only new or modified elements need to be translated and programmed into the survey. Our experts will be glad to advise you on follow-up waves and possible synergies.
