The success story of Rogator AG began with the founding of the company in 2002, when the young company, a pioneer in online research, developed the first software tools for online surveys. In the following ten years, the aim was to establish this innovative solution as a firm pillar of market research.
Thanks to the constant development of our software tools and the high commitment of our team, the company has grown continuously. Through regular analyses and market observations Rogator opened up relevant areas of application and expanded its range of products. The possibilities of online research became more and more important and are today considered the most used and indispensable methods in market research.
Consulting at Rogator: With know-how to success
In the following years, our methodological knowledge for conducting online surveys also grew. This extensive know-how became so essential for our customers that the company decided in 2005 to add consulting and project implementation to the fixed offer of Rogator AG.
This decision expanded our portfolio to include services and support, such as the development and programming of customer-specific online questionnaires, project management, statistics and interpretation of results, as well as advice on possible follow-up processes.
In 2007, the expansion of the consulting business finally brought about a spatial change: Rogator AG moved into its current premises at Emmericher Straße 17 in Nuremberg. results, as well as advice on possible follow-up processes.
Rogator software tools: Reliability meets innovation
The development department has also benefited from this expansion, as the growing know-how has had a direct influence on the continuous optimization of our software tools. As a result, Rogator expanded its software offering in the following years with the panel software RogPanel (2009), the management feedback tool Rog360 (2012), the community software RogQ-Lab (former: RogForum, 2014) and the text analysis software RogTCS (2014). The latter now enables users to automatically evaluate and visualize qualitative ratings and open, unstructured text responses in online surveys for the first time – without any manual effort. This important step is a revolution for online market research and offers completely new possibilities for using qualitative surveys.
The online research industry is now showing rapid growth and is becoming increasingly important. In 2013, Rogator received the innovation award of the BVM (Berufsverband Deutscher Markt- und Solzialforscher e.V.) for the development of the new hybrid technology HbbTV survey.
In focus: customer and employee feedback
The tasks and the acquired know-how of our consulting department became so extensive in the following years that Rogator 2015 decided to divide this department: the main focus was on Market Research and Employee Research.
All three corporate pillars – Software, Market Research and Employee Research – are constantly evolving, enabling Rogator to respond professionally to the individual requirements of its clients from all industries.
Not only has the range of services grown, but so has our team. For example, Rogator AG has expanded its premises in 2017 with an additional building wing.
In 2020 Rogator finally decided to concentrate on its core competencies: Customer Feedback and Employee Feedback.
