Asking meaningful questions, specific questions
With the filtering you define questionnaire jumps and a meaningful structure for the questionnaire progress. This way, you avoid participants having to go through questions whose answers are not required due to previously given ones. Participants save time and the finisher quote is high. Filters also work well to allocate participants to condition-specific participant groups or to also exclude specific participants from surveys. G3 offers a variety of different filters that can also be used in combination, e.g. filters for previous questions, code lists, random branching, referrers, number areas, entered text, number of answer, etc. The formula filter additionally allows the structuring of different elements in formulas with AND or OR connections. Filters work on the question as well as the answer level, i.e. entire pages of questions or individual answers can be hidden from a question page.
