Different question types of the G3plus

Double matrix

The double matrix lets you query different aspects on a subject in two matrices and several lines and have them assessed in (almost) any number of columns. Both matrices are shown next to each other.

Multi matrix

The multi matrix should be applied when certain properties are to be attributed to different objects such as car manufacturers and each object can have multiple properties. The multi matrix is thus equivalent to several multi punch questions that you would otherwise ask one after the other. Each column may be defined as "exclusive" category. If this is clicked, all other answers in that row will be unchecked.

Ranking matrix

The ranking matrix is another simple way to construct a ranking question. In this question type you can only check one answer in each column (unlike the general matrix). It is advisable to use at least as many rows as columns, so that each rank can be assigned.

Matrix

The matrix lets you query different aspects on a subject in several lines and have them assessed in (almost) any number of columns. The range of functions to design the matrix is very comprehensive in Rogator G3 .

Slider

The slider or slide control allows you an especially fine display of answer options on a previously determined scale. The measured value of the slide control is determined by the relative position of the slider between the minimum and the maximum scale value.

Single choice

This question type allows only one answer from all the offered ones. An already selected answer is deactivated by choosing another option.

Instruction page

An instruction page is a page in the questionnaire without answers. It can be used to interrupt the rhythm of a survey or to introduce a new topic. Also information on the course of the survey can be given or stimuli such as adverts may be shown and evaluated in subsequent questions on further pages. Also instruction pages are used to design screenout pages that lead unqualified participants out of the survey.

Text question

The Text question gives you the option to add open questions, i.e. questions in which the answer is not specified, to your survey. It is possible here, for instance, to freely choose the size of the entry window, define mandatory answers or allow entries with specific formats. (date, e-mail address, number, time).

Multiple choice

A freely selectable number of answer options is permitted here.

Points

Who is the winner on points? Find out for yourself. With the points, participants can assign a fixed number of points to the shown items in order to weigh them according to their ideas.

Ranking question

What really matters to survey participants? Find out with ranking questions where the participants have to order a random number of answer options.
